Fipronil effectively kills fleas and ticks (including those that may transmit Lyme disease). The active ingredient features a sustained release formula developed for fast acting and long lasting control of fleas, ticks, and chewing lice for 4 weeks on dogs and cats.  

(S)-Methoprene acts on the immature stages of a flea’s life cycle.  It’s an Insect Control Regulator (Birth Control) for fleas, which make it the ideal flea treatment for getting rid of fleas by breaking the life cycle. Flea eggs deposited or flea larvae crawling onto treated area will not develop into adult fleas. Existing adult fleas and flea pupae are not affected and thus, Fipronil is used in conjunction to safely get rid of adult fleas.
